Let us free Luna, a young transgender woman mistreated by a Portuguese psychiatric hospital

Luna Bastos is a young trangender and autistic woman living in Portugal. The local psychiatric hospital has not recognized her gender identity, and has not given her any form of trans health support. The hospital has diagnosed her as being on the autism spectrum (Aspberger), but is not giving her any relevant support in that respect, either. Instead they are giving her antipsychotic drugs to keep her nonaggressive and docile.

Luna is suffering tremendously from the drugs they are giving her, from her gender dysphoria and from not being given the help she need as a neuroatypical person.

We need to do something about this. The Friends of Luna, an international network of trans and pro-trans people, asks for your help in that respect.
